My family has always been especially concerned with dogs and their breeding. In the beginning our passion was focused on the German Shepherd, and we still declare ourselves unconditionals of the breed. But everything changed some years ago when a dog, we found by chance, came to our house. He came from the Netherlands ant it was introduced to us as a white German Shepherd. From the beginning we felt captivated by his splendid pose and marvellous white coat. Of course we felt intrigated and after a while searching we found our, "Bit" (our dog´s name) was a White Swiss Shepherd recognized by the F.C.I.
But, our discovery was confirmed before we contrasted this information. Bit was different to the dogs we have had before. It´s affable, docile and exceptional character where the first indications; an unusual attention capacity and his extraordinary learning ability where the reasons to set off our new way. We have the firm purpose to establish the White Swiss Shepherd dog in Spain.
Litter born on the day June 7, 2009
We knew the first thing we needed was a female, a partner for our dog. Her pedigree should be in agreement with the best standards. We wanted to get a female with whom we could achieve certain characteristics in our future litters. Several months later we found the ideal candidate. She would also be dutch. "Balaska", with her we´ve managed to make real our goal.
After Balaska, arrived Fiona Bianka Von Basel from Argentina and Breda Trebons Berger Blanc from France. Both very pondered elections in the means of continuing a unique line. For this reason we continue searching a new male to complete the clan.
Blood and pedigree lines are something important and deserve to work hard for them. But more important still is to have the principals in which to breed this magnificent dogs. We will never understand this task as a simple factory of dogs, who live in kennels with no affection, locked most of the day. Our dogs are part of our lifes, our pets, our family.
Being a rather peculiar kennel, meaning we don´t follow estrictly the ways of conventional kennels. We are proud to offer exceptional animals. And what´s more important for us, dogs with stable temperament and solid character.
Our friends endorse this, I mean all the people who already own one of our dogs. With all of them we keep a fluid contact and a truth friendship too. This makes possible for us to follow the development of our dogs, testing if our job make the results of our work. Such a close tracking makes it possible to ratify the excellent health of our puppies.
We´d like to thank our friend Iban Cervera, pioneer of the breed in Spain.Thank you Iban for all your advices and friendship. We´d also like to thank Rob and Thea Commandeur, dutch breeders, for bringing up our princess "Balaska". We´d finally like to show Julian Mallo and Marcelo Bernal, from Von Basel Kennel, our deepest admiration for their fond work. Their excellent job spreading the White Swiss Shepherd dog in all the spanish speaking countries is not only enclosed on breeding but also dog shows, press articles and internet. Thank you Von Basel. Our bitch "Fiona Bianka" comes from their kennel. A dog we think will take this breed a step further.
I personally thank all the members of my family for their support and patience. Specially to Juan Jose Fuentes, author of the structure of this webpage. All of them believed in this dream and participated decisively to make it real.
